Participation at The Bridge at Fair Park LLC may improve the care recipient’s overall behavior and provide the caregiver with much-needed time off.
Generally, a care recipient may benefit because:
- It allows the individual to stay in their community while the caregiver is away
- It provides a break for the caregiver
- It provides needed social interaction
- It provides greater structure to the individuals daily activities
Benefits
- Assistance with eating, taking medicines, toileting
- Social Services and Counseling provided by care recipient’s provider
- Educational programs or mental stimulation
- Access to relevant community services
- Health monitoring (e.g., blood pressure, food or liquid intake)
- Healthy meals and snacks
- Onsite physician visits and therapy from individuals health provider
- Transportation services
